When will Netflix release Vikings: Valhalla season 3?

0
Vikings Valhalla season 3-

Michael Hirst‘s historical drama Vikings: Valhalla, a Netflix Original, is a prequel to the iconic Vikings History Channel series.  Due to the popularity of the original Vikings TV series, a spinoff titled Vikings: Valhalla premiered in February 2022.  Aafter much anticipation, Vikings: Valhalla’s second season has already been released on Netflix. In Vikings: Valhalla, which takes place more than a century after the events of the main series, we follow the lives of  Freydis Eiriksdottir, Leif Erikson, Harald Sigurdsson, his half-brother Olaf Haraldsson, and Queen Emma of Normandy. Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla picks up where season 1 left off, with Kattegat in ruins and at the mercy of King Sweyn (Søren Pilmark) and his fleet, Leif unleashing his inner berserker, Freydis and Harald fleeing Kattegat, and the pagans searching for a new safe place after the destruction of their homes and the Uppsala temple at the hands of Christian berserkers. Meanwhile, Queen Emma of England is in jeopardy; an assailant who wants her dead is far closer than she realizes.

The second season of Vikings: Valhalla was packed with surprises for Freydis, Leif, Harald, and Queen Emma, and the finale sets the stage for some exciting and potentially disastrous stories for each of the main characters. Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla has set up season 3 by altering the paths of the key characters’ stories. Since Emma can’t get rid of Godwin because he married Gytha, she’ll be keeping a careful check on him now that she knows his true aim and how far he’s ready to go to obtain it without having his hands dirty. Freydis is now the leader of a city while simultaneously caring for her young boy, a responsibility that is certainly not easy for her to take on. Harald has a new flame in Elena, but he needs a favor from the Emperor of Rome because he can’t go back to Freydis to help raise their son alone because he has no idea where Jomsborg is. Without Liv and Mariam, Leif has only Harald and what Mariam tried to teach him and left him, so he and Harald may decide to remain in Constantinople for some time unless they receive a call to action that compels them to seek out Freydis and possibly Canute as well.

When will Netflix release Vikings: Valhalla season 3?

Fans need not be concerned about the series’ renewal because it has been known from the start that it would receive at least three seasons. The series has already begun filming, and we anticipate its return later in 2023.  There is no confirmation of the release date for season 3 on Netflix as of this writing.

Is The Old Way Movie based on a True Story?

the old way movie
Screenwriter Carl W. Lucas and director Brett Donowho‘s western thriller movie “The Old Way.” The Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage as Colton Briggs, a repentant gunfighter who is pushed too far when a vengeful gang chases him down and kills his wife Ruth (Kerry Knuppe), leaving Colton to raise their young daughter, Brooke (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), in “The Old Way,” Cage returns to that territory. The widower goes back to his roots teaching Brooke how to track, shoot, and lie. Ironically, their efforts to kill the other criminals have brought the father and child closer together than ever. Colton must contend with a young killer (Noah Le Gros) who has a very specific motive for destroying the lives of the gunslinger.
Nicolas Cage “first-ever-western,” movie, never before played a character who lives on the American frontier with hats, guns, horses, and other such things.  The chemistry between Nicolas Cage and Ryan Kiera Armstrong helps the film get past some of its more formulaic parts. You wonder if they are based on a true story or a real person because of the depth of their characters. The information provided here will answer any questions you may have after seeing “The Old Way.”

Is it true The Old Way Movie is based on a True Story?

No, Nicolas Cage‘s western movieThe Old Way” is not based on a true story. The film, directed by Brett Donowho, offers a fresh interpretation of the traditional tale of retribution while simultaneously acting as a love letter to the Western subgenre and a masterful critique. Before the movie’s release, Screen Rant had a one-on-one interview with director Brett Donowho to talk about The Old Way and his experiences. When Donowho first read the script, he was actually at his daughter’s house in Dallas, Texas. After reading it his first reaction is “Oh, my God, this is an amazing script,” and he connected with it. It might sound lofty, but I swear to God, it’s true.

He said, I grew up on a ranch for a lot of my life, so the Western itself is a genre that not only I grew up watching, but participating in it, if you will. I had the cowboy uncle going to rodeos, and me and the Boy Scouts would go out and ride horseback growing up. So it’s a genre, coming up with my momma and papa, watching Rawhide and Gunsmoke and, of course, the John Wayne and Charles Bronson movies, so it’s something I’ve always loved.

Brett Donowho added I get it, I can showcase what I’ve learned to the script.” So, my point of saying all that is that when I finished it, I was like, “Oh, my God,” I couldn’t even think of Colton Briggs, because all I could think about is how difficult it would be to cast a 12-year-old Brooke to play this role. he continued,   I’ve watched Nic Cage movies, but I hadn’t researched his filmography, so then we’re like, “Wait, he’s never done a Western. Oh my God, I bet he would kill this.  Nic did not just love the script, but we also had a terrific meeting“.

Nicolas Cage does a great job in the role. Ryan Kiera Armstrong does a fine job portraying Brooke, yet her character is just as icy as Nic’s. People who prefer the tried-and-true storytelling of Westerns will find nothing new to be surprised by in The Old Way.  In light of this, it is clear that “The Old Way” is a fictional narrative of events that, like many other films, was expertly assembled to give the impression of veracity. [Peacock] The Traitors Season 1 – Meet the Cast

Where Was Alan Cumming’s The Traitors Filmed?

Peacock‘s The Traitors is filmed at a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands.  Similar to the previous U.K. adaptation, which aired on the BBC and was a smashing success, The Traitors was shot in the same location. The Ardross Castle on the banks of the River Alness, north of Inverness, is the location, as reported by The Press and Journal. More than a hundred acres of parkland surround the castle’s beautiful gardens, which date back to the 19th century. So, Who gets to stay in the castle, and who gets kicked out?

The Ardross Castle Highlands

The majority of the program is held inside the castle and on its grounds, with challenges taking place elsewhere. The Scottish Baronial-style castle, which is situated on the banks of the River Alness and contains more than 100 acres of parkland, served as the first Duke of Sutherland’s hunting lodge in the past.  Numerous lawns and gardens, including the Walled Garden and Formal Garden, have been revitalized thanks to the McTaggarts.

Additionally, Brandi Glanville and Arie Luyendyk Jr. described the interior of the Scottish castle to USA Insider.

“The castle was amazing obviously. It was so visually beautiful; you’re in the middle of these like green fields and everything. Being in this beautiful remote area where you see sheep and peacocks screaming at us constantly, it was just stunning visually,” Glanville stated.

“I think that you know coming from [the U.S.] and then just going to Scotland in general and just having that picturesque background was really incredible. Luyendyk stated.

The McTaggart family currently owns it; they acquired it in 1983 and renovated the estate’s gardens. For opulent business retreats and as a wedding location, the castle is offered for rental.

John Ray Murder

How Did John Ray Pass Away?

John Ray, a resident of Lakewood Heights in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away at 32. John was an Air Force veteran who worked as a paralegal and had a good reputation in the neighborhood. People who knew him characterized him as a friendly and compassionate person who loved making new friends and helping others. He was also friendly to everyone he met, adding to the shock of his sudden death.

The body of John Ray was discovered by authorities on May 16, 2004, inside his Lakewood Heights residence. Although he was pronounced dead at the scene, a preliminary medical examination revealed that the victim had passed away many days before he was discovered. The former Air Force member suffered multiple stab wounds to his head and torso when he was left handcuffed on the ground in a pool of blood. Even the murder weapon’s blade was broken inside of him by the attack’s ferocity.

The cause of John’s death was determined via an autopsy. The victim had various things stolen, including his TV, stereo, and automobile. A short investigation of the crime scene revealed traces of forced entry, leading the police to suspect that he was slain during a robbery. The murderer had used bleach to remove all traces of DNA and fingerprints from the crime scene; much to the astonishment of the police, thus the crime seemed to be well-planned. Detectives, therefore, had no forensic evidence to work with.

Who Killed John Ray

Who was John Ray’s killer?

Due to a lack of forensic data, the original investigation into John Ray’s murder was quite difficult. In addition, after searching the neighborhood, officers could not locate any witnesses, and there were few leads. However, the majority of the associates of the victim that the detectives spoke to remarked on John’s calm disposition. Since he was not known to have many enemies, the police could not develop a suitable suspect list.

It’s interesting to note that, barely two miles from John’s home, his automobile was stopped for running a stop sign a few hours after he was found dead. But before the police could detain the driver, the automobile quickly slammed into a roadside pole, and the man fled the scene on foot. However, forensic teams thoroughly searched the vehicle and successfully obtained a foreign DNA sample from the airbag. Unfortunately, little has changed in the case since then because the DNA did not match the samples that were already in the system, leaving detectives at a dead end with no new leads.

But as they looked more, law enforcement officials found that John was quite active on a gay dating site. On the other hand, John dealt with criminals regularly as part of his paralegal work, and a quick search of his briefcase turned up information on career criminal Torico Jackson, who had been in and out of jail numerous times since 2001 on various unconnected offenses. In addition, the authorities discovered that John’s residence had been broken into repeatedly in the months before the murder, and his coworkers had expressed concern for his safety.

The police discovered that Torico Jackson’s case wasn’t on the paralegal’s to-do list when they spoke with some of John’s coworkers. However, because the victim’s suitcase contained Torico’s files, law enforcement investigated the career criminal and soon learned that Torico had met John on the homosexual dating website. The suspect in the issue was being held at the time for a different crime, and when the police retrieved his DNA, it turned out to be an exact match to the DNA found in John’s stolen automobile.

So without further ado, investigators accused Torico Jackson of killing John Ray. Torico was found guilty of several offenses when he was brought before the court, including murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, burglary, and armed robbery. He received two life sentences without the possibility of release, as well as an additional 25 years in 2013 as a result. Torico Jackson is currently incarcerated at the Smith State Prison in Glennville, Georgia, where he spends his days.

Crime Junkie’s Podcast ‘Murdered: Aaron Taylor: Who Killed Aaron Taylor? – Aaron Taylor’s parents, Frank and Pat Taylor, had no idea they would see their son or daughter for the last time when Aaron decided to get his GED at Grand Canyon University. When they came upon a man dead on a bench in front of a Subway restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2007, almost 16 years after they first discovered the man, they eventually learned about their son.

The police started treating Aaron’s death as a homicide after the original determination that it was an accident. The terrible murder is detailed in Crime Junkie’s Podcast “Murdered: Aaron Taylor,” which also focuses on the investigation’s best efforts to solve the case. Let’s explore the specifics and learn more, shall we?

How Did Aaron Taylor Die

Why Did Aaron Taylor Die?

Aaron Taylor was raised in a close-knit family in Bend, Oregon, along with four other siblings. However, according to his parents, Frank and Pat Taylor, his perspective on life changed after he was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident. Additionally, according to sources, Aaron had a history of legal troubles and drug and alcohol usage when he was a teenager because he wanted to be like his pals.

As a result, when Frank and Pat handed him the money to get his GED at Grand Canyon University, he instead focused on Phoenix, Arizona, and a nomadic existence. People who knew Aaron stated that he was a patient listener and had a kind word for everyone he came into contact with, despite being convicted and imprisoned for roughly seven years on an unrelated burglary conviction. Aaron was also renowned for having a big heart and many friends, even though he lived on the streets of Phoenix, Arizona.

On December 25, 2007, information concerning a rumored fire on a bench outside a Subway restaurant near Cactus Road and Paradise Village Parkway was reported to the police in Phoenix, Arizona. After firefighters were able to put out the fire, authorities were appalled to discover that a human body had taken fire and was burning in the open while people went about their daily lives.

People who saw the fire later reported they thought the figure was a dummy because they found the entire circumstance to be, to put it mildly, exceedingly odd and distressing. Once the fire was put out, first responders went over to the victim and attempted CPR, but it was unsuccessful. They eventually took him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead when he got there. The police did not discover Aaron Taylor’s identity as the victim for three days, and an autopsy revealed that he had died from burns.

Who Killed Aaron Taylor

Who was Aaron Taylor’s Killer?

The victim had no identification on him, and the authorities only recognized him as Aaron Taylor after someone claimed to know his family, despite the fact that they were aware of his homelessness. Additionally, a comprehensive investigation of the crime scene turned up nothing but a few beer bottles and snack packages because the firefighting efforts had almost destroyed all forensic evidence. Because of this, the police were forced to declare the death suspicious and search the area for any witnesses who might be able to point them in the direction of a suspect.

When numerous witnesses came forward and said they had observed three men flicking matches on Aaron’s beard as he slept, police finally made their first significant progress. Even though the majority thought the figure was a mannequin and not a real person, the witnesses claimed to have seen the victim catch fire.

Further inquiry revealed that Aaron had been sleeping on the bench outside the Subway shop for several months and had been subjected to persistent harassment by a group of three friends. People who were walking by there insisted that they had seen the trio bind him, duct tie him to the bench, soak him in alcohol, and even dump him into a nearby fountain. Despite this, Aaron never voiced his displeasure and continued to smile and say something polite to most onlookers.

The authorities were certain that the group had lit Aaron ablaze when further inquiry produced more proof, as they had been seen flicking matches at his beard. As a result, they found the men right away and brought them in for interrogation. All three suspects initially maintained their innocence and refused to accept responsibility for the crime. However, as soon as law enforcement officials presented them with the proof, they promptly retained counsel, and they were told not to divulge too much information by their lawyers.

As a result, the three were released after providing a few evasive explanations because there was insufficient proof linking them to the murder. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any development in the case since then, and no one has been put on trial for the crime. Detectives still view the case as being under investigation, but Aaron’s parents are optimistic that justice will be served as they wait for their due closure.

How Did Sylvia Quayle Die

Sylvia Quayle Murder: On The Case With Paula Zahn Season 25 Episode 16 Confessions and Lies – On August 4, 1981, Cherry Hills Village’s 911 operators got information regarding a potential homicide; when first responders arrived, they discovered Sylvia Quayle dead inside her own home. Even though the incident led to a homicide inquiry, authorities later stated that the crime was too terrible for even seasoned officers to comprehend. The terrible murder is detailed in the Investigation Discovery documentary “On The Case With Paula Zahn Season 25 Episode 16 Confessions and Lies,” which also shows how the police were able to apprehend the murderer decades after the crime. Let’s examine the case’s specifics and discover the whereabouts of Sylvia’s murderer right now, shall we?

Sylvia Quayle Murder

Why Did Sylvia Quayle Pass Away?

Sylvia Quayle, a Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, resident, was just 35 years old when she was killed. Sylvia, while living alone, kept a tight relationship with her family, and she was especially close to her father. People who knew her characterized her as a caring and generous person who enjoyed making new acquaintances and lending a helpful hand. In addition, Sylvia was renowned for her cordial manner, and her younger sister, who looked up to the victim as her role model, spoke of losing her best friend and mentor to a senseless act of violence motivated by rage.

On August 4, 1981, information concerning a potential homicide at a residence in the 3800 block of South Ogden Street was given to Cherry Hills Village police. Upon seeing Sylvia’s father at the scene, first responders learned that he had come up to check on his daughter when he discovered her lying in a pool of her own blood.

Medical examiners quickly identified the victim as having many knife wounds throughout her body and strangulation signs on her neck. Sylvia was fatally stabbed, choked, and sexually raped before being shot in sleep, according to an autopsy that was performed later. But even a comprehensive examination of the crime site turned very little evidence, despite the window in her bedroom showing signs of forced entry.

Who Killed Sylvia Quayle

Who was Sylvia Quayle’s killer?

Naturally, the case made very little headway in the early days because there were no witnesses or leads upon which to build an inquiry. The victim’s neighbourhood was inspected by the police, along with the crime scene, and several of Sylvia’s friends were even interviewed. However, the people who knew Sylvia spoke about her friendly demeanour and said they had no idea why anyone would want to harm the 35-year-old, despite the fact that the search turned up virtually no information about the suspect’s identity. Furthermore, because DNA technology wasn’t developed at the time, the police could not gather a lot of forensic evidence, which put the detectives right back where they started.

When the police finally realized in 1983 that a rug close to the body might contain foreign material, they brought the rug to the CBI for testing in 1995. However, it took authorities five years until a potential DNA sample was generated in 2000. The DNA sample did not match any of the suspects the police had, including Sylvia’s ex-boyfriend Pete, and they were all exonerated one by one.

The program also reported that Otis Toole and Henry Lucas, two prisoners who were detained for unrelated offenses, suddenly came forward and confessed to killing Sylvia. The two immediately started disclosing information that only the murderer could know, despite the police’s initial reservations about their confession. A fast DNA test, however, quickly revealed that even Oris and Henry had no involvement in the murder and were only after publicity.

Unfortunately, the case remained unsolved for a long time. It wasn’t reopened until the Cherry Hills Police Department decided to apply cutting-edge genetic analysis to identify a match to their DNA sample in the late 2010s. During the course of the inquiry, genetic genealogy was also used. Eventually, detectives were able to use two free websites that matched DNA to provide a single result. That outcome suggested David Dwayne Anderson, a citizen of Cherry Hills Village who resided close to Sylvia’s home at the time of her murder.

The program claimed that David was a habitual offender who had spent time in and out of jail for burglary. Despite having the resources to commit a horrific murder, officials needed to discover hard proof before they could make an arrest. As a result, they took a sample of David’s DNA from his garbage, and when it was shown to be an exact match to the sample discovered at the crime site, he was taken into custody and charged with murder.

How Did Gabriel Gabrielli and Tammy Gardener Pass Away?

Tammy, a New Castle County, Delaware resident, was said to enjoy life and going out with friends by those who knew her. She had been previously married, but her love of parties caused a gap between them. The television program said that Tammy had recently broken up with Clifford Wright to pursue a relationship with Gabriel Gabrielli. Gabriel, who had also been married before, appeared to be much in love with Tammy, and the two looked forward to a happy future together without realizing the horror that lay ahead.

Police in New Castle County, Delaware, learned of a double disappearance on July 9, 2006, and they immediately started looking into the peculiar circumstances. As soon as they arrived on the scene in response to the report, the police learned that Tammy and Gabriel had both vanished from their house early the next morning after returning from a date night.

The authorities surveyed the area and even looked for a witness in vain because Tammy and Gabriel’s families stated they would only have fled with information. Although Clifford Wright, Tammy’s ex-boyfriend, appeared to be relatively unconcerned by the occurrence, there was nothing at Tammy’s home that could constitute a potential lead.

Officers in Hockessin, Delaware, eventually discovered an abandoned minivan in a park and recognized it as Tammy’s car four days after the murder. Nothing could have prepared them for what they saw when the doors were unlocked by the police, and they discovered Tammy and Gabriel’s horrifyingly dismembered bodies inside. The pair appeared to have numerous bruises at first glance, and an examination later revealed that blunt-force trauma was the cause of their demise.

Who murdered Gabrielli and Tammy Gardener?

The initial investigation into Tammy and Gabriel’s murder was quite difficult because there were few witnesses or clues for the police to investigate. Authorities quickly recognized that the killer had set fire to the minivan, wiping out much of the forensic evidence, even though the bodies weren’t found until almost four days after the crime. However, they made their first important discovery while speaking with several of the couple’s friends since most of them referred to Tammy’s troubled romance with Clifford Wright.

When Clifford was questioned, he insisted on his innocence and rejected accepting any blame. Despite the fact that they had no choice but to release him due to a lack of evidence, the police were taken aback by his apparent indifference to Tammy’s fate, which led them to consider him a person of interest. When police investigated Clifford further, they learned that Tammy had expelled him from her home just before the murder and had filed a complaint against him for severe harassment.

In addition, she had requested her ex-husband to look after their children out of concern that Clifford may make a fateful decision. The cops also discovered how Clifford had disparaged Tammy in front of her family and accused them of drug and alcohol misuse.

Clifford said he was at his friend Raheem Cannon’s home during the murder. Still, despite the overwhelming amount of evidence that made him appear to be a very plausible candidate, the police were able to disprove this claim quickly. Police then detained Clifford Wright after deciding they had enough evidence to file a murder charge against him for the deaths of Tammy and Gabriel.

After being apprehended, Clifford said he hadn’t committed the murder but had witnessed Tammy and Gabriel having a good time on their date the night before. The jury disagreed, and when Clifford was presented in court in 2009, he was found guilty on two charges of first-degree murder and given four life sentences plus an additional 147 years in jail. Clifford has so far filed many applications seeking the reversal of his conviction but with no success. He is currently spending his days in prison at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in New Castle County, Delaware, as the release is not an option.
