Selenkay Season 1 Plot
This is a story of Sofía Rivera, a teenage girl who due to her parents working in different areas has always relocated to areas with little to no human interaction. Sofía dreams of a good and decent life when her family decides to move to Río Vivo, an unknown small mountain village. However, this dream does not stay well with her for long since she comes across a supernatural power associated with water.
During daily routine in the new school, Sofía develops interest in the mysterious Fénix siblings especially Gael Fénix with whom she becomes close friends. Even though her family did not overall approve the Fénix family, Sofía develops a romance with Gael which makes her explore the village’s mysteries and deal with spirits’ presence. Her voyage increases her self- definition struggle as well as world perception.
