In The Ark Season 2, Episode 7 – ‘It Can’t Be True,’ relationships between the characters have become even more strained aboard the Ark One. The episode begins in a mini-monologue of Captain Sharon Garnet (Christie Burke) who laments on deteriorating relations among the crew members. This portrays that when the outer space threats are closer, people that were once close are turning against each other because secrets and suspicions are rising.

Kimi, a female security officer, has been secretly conducting her mission to find out whether there are enemies – the Eastern Federation agents – on board the ship. She takes her investigation to another phase when she realises that Eva Markovic could be a spy for MI6. Kimi first confronts Eva but before she could bring out more scandalous information about Eva actually, Eva also states that she has been an undercover, but not for the Eastern Federation. Instead, she will be attempting to preserve the lives of all the characters onboard from another evil force that exists in the vessel. This revelation puts Kimi in an ethical dilemma which obliges her to have no one to trust.

At the same time, the interest between main characters Angus and Alicia develops gradually. They alone have become a source of light for one another in what can only be described as a dark voyage but even this aspect is not spared from the strains forming on the ship. Indeed, Angus has been feeling more and more useless since the ship wreck and concerned whether he has done enough to help the crew to stay alive. He lays down his woes with her revealing his dilemma to her saying that he feels that he is just a burden. Alicia does so do reassure him but their moment of comfort is cut short by a blackout which precedes a disaster on board the ship.

There are flashing red lights and beeping noises when the electricity goes off and the team quickly tries to find out what is wrong. Lieutenant Spencer Lane and Garnet must grapple together to calm down the ship and their being close starts friction in between the both of them. Towards the end of the episode one gets the impression that the two have more than just a working relationship. A little slowly, but their relations have been becoming more intimate, but the state of the ship does not allow both of them to start an affair.

When the crew fails to reconnect the power the captain realizes that the was a sabotage attempt. Eva’s explanation raises suspicion especially with the discovery that Kimi has been making. However, when the crew confront her, Eva vehemently refused their accusations and said that it was not her and the real saboteur is still alive. This only fuels distrust among the crew and triggers disagreements and nervous tension on the ship.

In the middle of it all is Kelly Fowler (Samantha Glassner) who has her own personal issues to contend with, but finds herself entangled in another case. In previous episodes, she was provided with a remote control that will control the devices implanted in her that was proposed to assists them regulate their emotions. Although, Kelly has been using the device in behind the scenes hence she is becoming more powerful but also more dangerous like never before. When all the systems aboard the ship shut down one by one, a voice in Kelly’s mind tells her to commit suicide. The last scene of the episode shows Kelly before the button that, depending on her action would either blow up the ship and present the possibility of the colony being destroyed or save them all.

Currently in the medical bay, Dr. Marsh (Jadran Malkovich) is angry and his colleague Dr. Kabir (Shalini Peiris) is the one to suffer the consequences of discovering the above secrets. Marsh, who has never shown any sign of affection, suddenly comes clean to Kabir about the fact that he loves him. It is an odd, stiff scene, but Kabir’s response is even more unexpected: she turns him down flat, insisting there is no place for love among people whose lives may be at sea. This makes Marsh feel like he is alone and has no right to be part of the crew and hence causing him depression.

Towards the end of the episode, we find out how all the storylines are related to one another. The crew’s lack of trust reaches it peak when another sabotage is discovered one which is more lethal. By the end of this episode, the show is left on a cliff hanger as Garnet, Lane and Kimi confront the saboteur in a tense play off just to discover, the enemy could be among them. The last scene ends with the exit of the screen and the spectators overwhelmed with one single thought – whom you can believe in such a situation with the ship that is heading nowhere?

“It Can’t Be True” builds up for an exciting second half of the season for the crew of Ark One where they will experience their biggest trials not just from the harshness of space but also the treachery from within the ship.

While waiting for the next episode of Bad Monkey, the audience is eagerly waiting for the continuation after the events that took place in the fourth episode. Entering the fifth episode called “That Damn Arm Is Back”, the show’s fans are eager to see how the plot will develop after placing Yancy in a critical position.

During the fourth episode, viewers saw Yancy(Vince Vaughn) find something that connects Nick/Christopher (Rob Delaney) to crimes escalating in this series. At the eve of sharing all this to his partner Rosa Yancy, the cop was attacked by Nick and his fate is left unknown. It will be interesting to see how this will play out in the show since Yancy is most likely hiding at the moment in episode 5.

The title of this episode, ‘That Damn Arm Is Back,’ implies that the appendage that has held rather an iconic status in the show, is set to make a comeback of sorts. This could mean more problems for Nick whose plan of faking his own death is almost to unravel. As for episode 5, one would expect to see Yancy apply his wit and his familiarity with the Keys to avoid police check-points as well as to carry on with the investigation.

Yancy tries to investigate the occurrences independently of the authorities and therefore goes undercover. And the Miami PD starts suspecting him. In meantime, the mysterious Dragon Queen will become the leading figure of Episode 5 where she will interrogate Egg regarding Neville. The episode was directed by Marcos Siega and the story and screenplay was done by Brian C. Brown.

Yancy makes a crucial realization as he goes into hiding. The Dragon Queen asks Egg about Neville. 

What’s Next for Eve and Nick?

Heather’s murder is still looming on the happy couple, and with Yancy out there she will find it hard to keep Nick locked up in her web Even though the show focuses on them as a couple, it becomes apparent that the marriage unraveling will soon reemerge. In episode 5, the desperation may grow in Nick to the nth level, the more he will make even worse decisions than before so as not to expose their misdeeds.

Bad Monkey is not a tightly closed story that tells a single narrative in its entirety; it only goes on developing its storyline with each episode and ‘That Damn Arm Is Back’ is going to be a very significant chapter in this riveting story.

The fourth episode of Bad Monkey titled “Nothing’s Wrong With It, I Just Don’t Need It Anymore” delves into Andrew Yancy’s (Vince Vaughn) and Nick/Christopher’s (Rob Delaney) respective past to reveal the circumstances that led them to their current predicament. In the episode we learn about Yancy’s disillusionment and Nick’s murder spree which of course is all thanks to Eve (Meredith Hagner).

The first scene of the episode is a flashback which takes place five years ago. At that time, Nick was a single father having Caitlin (Charlotte Lawrence), his teenage daughter who grew to womanhood. She had got a modeling contract and she was requested to attend a magazine launch. Although he had his share of scepticism, Nick agreed to let her go fearing for her fate but seeing how much it meant to her he let her go. This event however was to be the downward spiral to the end of normalcy that Nick knew.

At the same party, Eve, a struggling actress, was performing as a so called “shot” girl. Her temper and desire to become a star seemed to fascinate Nick and he decided to have an affair with her even though she didn’t seem to have a soul as she failed to cry during a scene. From that very day Caitlin really did not approve the fact that her father has fallen in love with Ann, a woman of her age and beneath his standard. One year later Eve turned to the new wife of Nick, Caitlin was obliged to accept the role of the stepmother she had not even a slight desire to accept.

At the same time, Yancy was still a police officer with the Miami Police Department. He was a rather hostile, plain clothes detective who single-handedly exposes an embezzlement scandal in the precinct. One of the colleagues of Yancy, Officer Mendez was involved in the con of friends and relatives posing as the informers who dial the fake crime and receive money reward for that. They did not like Yancy’s persistent determination in seeking justice as it was causing havoc and became a thorn in the side of his superiors, they transferred him to the Keys labelling him as a reckless cop or a wayward officer. Yancy thought that he would be back at Miami-Dade soon enough, but as days went by his career was effectively over. This forced Yancy into a new chapter in his life and he begins to understand and appreciate his father and start and learn about the simple things in life such as nature which was also highlighted in the later part of the episode.

In Miami, Nick and Izzy (Zach Braff), were operating a very successful health insurance fraud in their business Midwest Medical Mobile. They were forging prescriptions and the fake reports were for non- existent patients and the money went to their pockets. Eve was already rather part of the life of Nick and she got drawn into the conspiracy too soon. Her beauty and elegance were quite useful in the con jobs as it landed them targets that were easy to manipulate. The business was going strong and it was not long before they started getting into other evils which would invite the police.

Eve then assumed the leadership of the team when the tax department started getting closer to them. She proposed a drastic solution: Penny should get Nick to stage his own death and for them to take the insurance money they have and go to Bahamas to live the rest of their lives heedless of those around them. To ensure that the plan would work there was consensus that Nick would have his arm cut off by Izzy, a decision which proved costly to everyone involved. One mutual friend, Phinney was enlisted in the plan but matters got out of hand when Yancy started probing into the issue.

Yancy realised now that he was in the Keys, the disconnected pieces of information was slowly coming together in his head. As a result of meeting Phinney the latter scared Eve and she forced Nick into shooting him. It was Nick who actually killed the man with a single blow even though he was a one-armed man; thus provoking a series of events involving betrayal and killings.

Yancy finally caught up to Izzy and the latter, constantly ridden by guilt over their involvement in Phinney’s death and over his own impending demise, confessed to Yancy everything. But before he could, Nick arrived at Izzy’s doorstep, bringing her coffee in bed and proposing that they enjoy as many summer mornings as possible before they became memories. Izzy understood that he has no chances to survive and so accepted death as Nick shot him in the head. The authorities themselves did not know the nature of the conspiracy in its entirety and that is why, they saw it as a murder and suicide which made the investigation for Yancy even more difficult.

In the fourth episode of Bad Monkey, Heather (Lauren Buglioli), who is a meteorologist in the area, falls prey to Eve’s psychopathic nature. Heather has been introduced at the beginning of the series and her role has been quite marginal throughout the series, but in this episode viewers get to know what has become of her.

Heather has her downfall when she listens to possibly the most important phone call between Nick and Eve in which they highlight their involvement in several diabolical crimes: the murder of Phinney as well as Izzy. This puts Eve and Nick in a very dangerous sit as Heather now knows too much about their evil deeds.

Seeing a threats in Heather Eve kills her to remain the only survivor among Company’s employees and without any possibility to betray the Company.How she does this is left to the viewer’s imagination although from the evidence it is clear that Eve will do anything to ensure her safety and achievement of her goals, including ending an innocent life. Heather’s death is a bitter reminder that Nick and Eve live in a very deadly world, whereby anyone who is close to the truth becomes a goneridden.

The climax of the episode occurs when Yancy is able to piece it all together. He also gets it through his head that Nick and Christopher are one and the same and attempts to contact Rosa (Natalie Martinez), his new partner, via an urgent message in her voice mail. However, before he could do that he is attacked from behind by Nick who knocks him out just when he is about to find out the truth.

In the last sequences, the risks are brought to the new level. After that, Eve tells Nick that they should kill Caitlin as she may know a lot of things. Nick looks shocked at the idea of inflicting harm on his daughter and resists this which makes Eve deny she ever suggested it – or misunderstood something. However, this is where the doubts have been created and the viewers realize that Eve’s trickster side is unlimited.

As the episode finishes, Yancy is in critical situation and the Miami PD starts to think that he is involved in the recent deaths. On the other hand, Rosa who has been pursuing Nick and Eve is probably the only one who can record Yancy’s voicemail; she is the only hope in arresting them before they continue causing havoc.

The fourth episode of Bad Monkey effectively creates flashback scenes, which show us how the people in the present made their decisions that led to the current events. As Yancy is in serious risk to get killed and the police are after them now, there couldn’t be much tension as there is now and that makes the upcoming fights more explosive.

’Emilia Pérez’ is an inspirational and rather untypical story of Juan ‘Manitas’ Del Monte, a Mexican cartel boss, who decides to change his life after years of criminal activity. He employs the services of a disenchanted lawyer named Rita Moro Castro to help him get a clean record and financially transition to physically transition to a woman. Quite in the same manner, the movie depicts this transition perfectly, majorly based around matters concerning identity, discovery, and the extent to which individuals would endure in order to get to that personal identity.

It is, therefore, interesting when Emilia, who was previously called Manitas, comes to Rita for assistance for one more time. This time the transformed Emilia wants to go back to Mexico to look for her children, the plot is promising the action, musical numbers, and emotions. The first trailer released afterwards the sensational premiere at the Cannes Film Festival is the one highlighting the neon-infused songs that are as much a part of this movie as the dialogue. Netflix is again coming with a dark and intense series with Out of the Dust: the new psychological thriller series. Written by Julie Gearey who worked on such shows as Intergalactic and Prisoners’ Wives, it is a six-part series that already has attracted a lot of attention among those who would watch it on the platform. Out of the Dust is being shot in the U. K.

‘Out of the Dust’ Season 1 Cast Revealed

Bringing out the brilliance in Out of the Dust is Asa Butterfield who has recently featured in Sex Education. : Butterfield is destined to portray an individual named Adam who has a wonderful life and everything turns out to be a lie, there is a skeleton in his closet.

By his side is Molly Windsor, a BAFTA award winner credited for the outstanding performance in Three Girls. Windsor performs a character Rosie, a religious wife and a mother who gets into a tragic circumstance after finding an escaped convict.

In this series, Fra Fee, who recently featured in Hawkeye, breathes life into Sam, the convict that Rosie finds herself entangled with.

Masterpiece award nominee Siobhan Finneran who previously starred in Time and Christopher Eccleston from True Detective complete the core cast .

Out of the Dust deals with very complex aspects of the characters’ personality, the question of faith, the issues of control, attempts at personal liberation. Rosie is the protagonist of the series which set in a society of Christian nunnery where the narrative hops when Sam comes into the picture. As Rosie starts to doubt the integrity of the people around her especially her husband Adam she finds herself in the middle of a real web of intrigue and conspiracy. The show’s tension hinges on the ambiguity of where the true danger lies: or in the gloomy reality of the cult-like environment that makes people helpless within its system, or in the character of Sam, whose background is mysterious and potentially criminal.

A psychological thriller set in a conservative Christian sect, “Out of the Dust” follows the story of Rosie (Windsor), a dutiful wife and mother who is set on a dangerous path of emancipation and sexual awakening when she has an encounter with Sam (Fee), an escaped convict.

Direction is done by Jim Loach in Criminal Record and Philippa Langdale in A Discovery of Witches both directors are good in giving visuals and strong emotions to their pieces. This project is being worked on by Nick Pitt, for Double Dutch Productions- backed by Banijay U. K., Iona Vrolyk is the executive producer along with Myar Craig-Brown. This is the first commission for Double Dutch Productions, a company that was founded in 2022 by Vrolyk, who also serve as the company’s producer of Intergalactic.

Out of the Dust they hope to release as soon as possible in Netflix and audiences should keep this one bookmarked. If the cast is anything to go by then this is a series that will be remembered for some time.

Being a comedy show with rather an unusual theme, Ranma 1/2 is surely worthy to be considered a classic in the world of anime. Now, after years of waiting anxiously, a remake is coming to Netflix, determined to recreate the magic that laid within the original series, and give it to the new generation.

“Ranma 1/2” Season 1 Release Date

Ranma 1/2 will be available to stream through Netflix starting October 5 in the United States, October 6 in Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia. Contrary to most Netflix series where all episodes are dropped at once, this will help in creating a hype and helps the audiences to enjoy the show week by week. In Japan the animation will be shown at 24:55 JST, which means October 6th at 12:55 in the night, on NTV.

Ranma 1/2 Cast and Crew

The anime remake of Ranma 1/2 has many of the original voice actors, although this article notes that there will be some changes to the characters’ designs. Kappei Yamaguchi reprising his role of Ranma Saotome in the male part while Megumi Hayashibara voices the part of female Ranma. Voices: Noriko Hidaka – Akane Tendo, Minami Takayama – Nabiki Tendo, Kikuko Inoue – Kasumi Tendo. Ryoga Hibiki is voiced by Kōichi Yamadera while Shampoo will be played by Rei Sakuma. Most notably, they will introduce Akio Ōtsuka as Soun Tendo replacing Ryusuke Obayashi character and Chu as Genma Saotome replacing Kenichi Ogata character. Ogata, thus, will become the new narrator instead of Tadashi Nakamura as he died in the middle of the animation’s production.

The animation series is directed by Kōnosuke Uda who directed One Piece and DAYS episodes and animated series produced by Studio MAPPA. Kimiko Ueno, who is credited for Delicious in Dungeon and Astro Note, shall handle the series scripts while Hiromi Taniguchi shall handle the character design. Theme music of the opening credits will be given by the artist Ano, which will give a new twist to the entire series.

The fight scenes, most of which are mixed with comedy, are another defining feature of the series, besides helping show the characters’ prowess.

At the same time, the conflict of Mabel who tries not to be considered as an aimless girl adds a touch of reality to the series.

This season is not about the true-crine podcast as much as it is about the transformation of the main characters, yet the humor remains. It is feasible to sustain an element of novelty as well as to tap into a deeper range of emotions concerning the roles played by the cast members. The episode itself resumes directly from events of the season three and revolves around the show’s main character,Charles, and the tragic death of his friend and stunt double Sazz Pataki portrayed by Jane Lynch. Immediately when the team start their latest case we are taken through suspense, mystery and comedy.

More humor follows when the episode starts with a nostalgic look at childhood home videos of the three of them, first, which is a homage of sorts to their roots. However, the story quickly dives into the central mystery of the season: The incident to a large extent refers to the murder of Sazz Pataki. In the last episode of Season 3, Sazz was shot in a rather strange way in the presence of Charles, but now, the two are faced with the fact of her death.

Gaining a sense of the episode’s settings as it progresses, audience witnesses how three main characters, Oliver, Charles, and Mabel, rejoice over the end of the latest produced play of Charles. The two are watching television when the power supply is suddenly interrupted by a short black-out: the two remember the last power tune was when the huge incinerator in the building was closed some years back. Their thoughts are sudden cut short with the realizing that Sazz is no longer at the party since she went to accompany Charles for some wine appointment. When they go up to check on her in Charles’ apartment, there is no sign that she was laid there, dead on the floor and rather the house looks all clean and neat where the murder just happened. Here, the show offers a murder case where no body is found, thus starting what realty will prove to be an even more complex investigation.

As the three fight to come to terms with Sazz’s sudden disappearance, Charles gets a text message from Sazz’s phone indicating she was headed out of town to Los Angeles on some important business. The audience, however, knows the reality and therefore gets creeped out as Sazz is dead in the text. Despite Charles’ suspicions, the team temporarily shifts focus as a major opportunity comes knocking: Two years ago, Paramount Pictures decided to create their own murder mystery podcast that now became popular, and they want to turn it into a Hollywood movie.

Finally, in a somewhat surreal way, the three travel to a movie lot in Los Angeles to get a meeting with a Paramount Studios executive named Bev Melon (Molly Shannon). Bev gets them over excited with an opportunity she has already worked out in advance for them, she already has script, actors and the budget for the film adaption of their podcast . However, the success of the deal depends on the three key members Mabel, Charles as well as Oliver surrendering their right to their lives.

However, as the trio struggles to foresee whether they will make it in Hollywood or not, Sazz’s unit still remains unsolved. And before going to movie meeting, they go to Sazz’s apartment. That is when they realize that there are many unopened letters, which probably means that she has not been home for weeks. This only adds to their concern and endeavour to find out the truth to the mystery behind the box. But the opportunity to work in Hollywood cannot be called an invitation, as the additive’s popularity and the company’s consequent success is too enticing.

The act comes at the Paramount Studios party that is hosted in honor of Mabel, Charles, and Oliver where they come across the actors who have been typed cast to depict them in the movie. Zach Galifianakis is a newcomer to the TV show and will be portraying the character of Oliver, Eva Longoria will be portraying the character Mabel and Eugene Levy who will be portraying the character of Charles. Would you believe that Oliver’s first encounter with Zach is an exceptionally cringeworthy one? It is funny and the comedic tone is going to be set for the entire course of the episode. At the same time, a ‘shock’ to the main character Mabel happens to be Eva’s casting, and a new male friendship of Charles with Eugene Levy.
