The fourth season of FBI: International is here, and the Fly Team will be led by a new person. We meet Supervisory Special Agent Wesley “Wes” Mitchell in the first episode, which is called “A Leader, Not a Tourist.” Jesse Lee Soffer, who used to work on Chicago Police, plays Wes.
FBI: International: Who is Mitchell Wes?
Former LAPD officer Wes Mitchell joined the FBI in order to take on more difficult tasks. Wes was raised in Foster care and was later adopted by a police officer. He has a unique, hands-on way of doing his job. He is a strong leader because of his knowledge and drive, but his unconventional ways sometimes get in the way of working with other agents. He also knows Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), a member of the Fly Team, because he trained her early in her career.
On FBI: International, Wes Mitchell is going to have a fight with Smitty. Smitty gets mad at Wes because he often breaks the rules and does things his own way. Soffer said that Wes doesn’t follow the rules and does things “by the beat of his own drum,” which makes him a pain for Smitty. As the season goes-on, their tension will make for some fun and interesting interactions to watch.
FBI: International Season 4 Episode 1 Overview
Wes Mitchell’s partner gets shot in Los Angeles during a dramatic incident that opens the season. The thieves run away to Budapest and Wes follows them there, joining the Fly Team in the chase. When it comes to getting things done. Wes is a driven agent who isn’t afraid to break the rules. He gives the team new energy.
Jesse Lee Soffer talked to TVLine about his new role as Wes and how different it is from his old part as Jay Halstead on Chicago P.D. “Wes likes to be on his own. He’s not with anyone else. His boss said, “He’s good at his job and he likes it, but he’s a little strange.”
The first episode shows Wes at work, looking for the bad guys who hurt his partner. “While Wes’ partner is in the hospital. he is a man on fire and decides to go to Budapest, meet up with the Fly Team, and go after these guys,” Soffer teased.
Wes and Vo have an interesting past, which Soffer also told them. “When Vo graduated from the academy, she was one of his trainees. He was very tough on her back then.” There’s something interesting about them.
What’s Next for the Fly Team
Fans don’t just have to wait for Wes to come back. In Season 4, other people on the Fly Team will have to deal with their own problems:
Smitty, played by Eva-Jane Willis, will change as a person. Andre Raines (Carter Redwood) steps up to help the team a lot. Vo will have to get used to her new relationship with Wes because of how they met in the past. The team is still getting used to not having Scott Forrester as their boss but Wes brings a fresh start that the team is ready for.
FBI: International Season 4 Episode 1 Release Date
The fourth season of FBI: International starts on October 15 with the episode “A Leader, Not a Tourist.” Fans can look forward to an exciting season full of action, drama, and new ways for the team to work together now that Jesse Lee Soffer has joined the cast as Wes Mitchell.
