‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2 Trailer
It’s only a little over a minute long, but there’s a lot to unpack in that time, including Misty’s (Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty) tears, Natalie’s (Juliette Lewis) desire to restore “darkness,” and a new character played by Elijah Wood who questions some complicated friendships involving kidnapping and death. However, it doesn’t reveal too much about the plot, so there’s no need to panic about spoilers.
‘Yellowjackets’ Season 2 Debut Date
Before making its debut on-air on Sunday, March 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the second season will be available to subscribers of Showtime to stream beginning on March 24 and on-demand beginning the same day. The television show is presently filming in Vancouver, and has already been picked up for a third season of production.
The survival epic, psychological horror, and coming-of-age drama are billed as the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the unlucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The setting for the story is described as a remote cabin in the woods, and the girls are playing in a tournament. The series chronicles their fall from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later. This demonstrates that the past is never really in the past and that what started out in the wilderness is far from over.
