Blue Bloods is almost over, and fans are getting ready for what looks like it will be an unforgettable ending. The show has been on CBS for 14 seasons, and its last episode called “End of Tour” will air on December 13 (10/9c). But as the Reagan family gets ready for their last on-screen family dinner, a lot of trouble is starting to happen, and some of it may come as a surprise to fans.
Erin Reagan’s Surprising Ending
A while ago, Abigail Hawk, who plays Abigail Baker, said that Erin Reagan’s story might be the most shocking of all. In an interview with Us Weekly, she said, “Erin has the most surprising ending.” Erin, played by Bridget Moynahan since the show’s start, has had a rough ride, especially this season with her ex-husband Jack Boyle (Peter Hermann) coming back into the picture.
CBS released pictures from the last episodes that make it look like Erin and Jack might be getting back together. Some people think that Erin and Jack might get back together for good because of a picture of her with her arm around Jack. Could you get a second chance at love, or even marriage? She said, “The rest of the family really isn’t into him.” “The last episode in that storyline is going to make people really excited.”
A Heartbreaking Loss?
There could be romantic surprises coming up, but there could also be a darker turn. Fans have been quick to look over every detail after CBS shared pictures from a funeral scene in the finale. One very careful viewer noticed that Ian Quinlan‘s character, Luis Badillo, doesn’t seem to be in the group of mourners. Badillo, Eddie Janko’s partner, has been a major character this season, which has led some to think that he might be the one who dies.
More clues support this theory. In a teaser trailer, a person who looks like Badillo is seen lying on the ground with a gun close by, while Eddie runs to his aid. Eddie is in a wheelchair in another picture, and the mayor is also hurt and in a hospital sling. Vanessa Ray, who plays Eddie, said that her scene with Badillo was one of her five favorite times with Quinlan, which was a hint at a big scene. Could this be a scene where they say goodbye?
There may be heartbreak in the ending, but it won’t be all bad. Some people, like Bridget Moynahan, said the ending had “heartbreak, joyful news, and hopeful news.” Fans think that big announcements might be made in the finale, maybe at the famous Reagan family dinner table. The last gathering is sure to be remembered for a long time, whether it’s a wedding, a reconciliation, or a farewell.

A Bittersweet Goodbye
The cast of Blue Bloods didn’t like the decision to end the show; they wanted it to go on. Abigail Hawk said, “We didn’t want the show to end…” The most important ones are Tom Selleck and Len Cariou. Fans and cast members alike are enjoying these last moments as the show comes to an end.
The Reagan family has been through a lot: love, loss, and strength. Twists in the finale are still a secret, but one thing is for sure: fans who have been following this famous family for over ten years will want to see it.
