SWAT Season 8 Episode 3

SWAT Season 8 Episode 3 is called “Life,” and it’s the most dangerous and personal challenge that Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (played by Shemar Moore) and his team have ever faced. The episode is about dangerous prisoners being held hostage, and things go completely crazy when a bomb goes off, freeing a number of dangerous prisoners. There is someone in the prison who has a grudge against—Hondo.

As a leader, Hondo has always had to find a way to guide his team while also keeping his own past out of the way. In this case, though, his past may come back to haunt him in a big way. Maximum-security prisoners are set free by the explosion which sets off a chain of events that puts pressure on the whole 20-Squad. As Hondo and his team try to find those who have gotten out of prison during the lockdown—they are faced with decisions that could mean life or death.

Devin Gamble (Annie Ilonzeh), who became an important part of the team in Season 8, will be in the spotlight again as she proves her mettle with Hondo. Gamble’s character, who first appeared in Episode 1, is quickly becoming an important part of the team. As “Life” goes on, she will be put to the test. Deacon’s actor— Jay Harrington, also comes back. He brings a steady hand to the high-stakes operation as the team fights to stay in charge and keep the chaos from getting worse.

SWAT Season 8 Episode 3  Longlines: 20-Squad faces down a prison hostage situation, only to be thrown into deeper danger when a bomb explodes, freeing maximum-security prisoners from their cells, including someone with a personal grudge against Hondo.

SWAT Season 8 Episode 3 titled “Life” is set to air on Friday (November 1, 2024) at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ for those subscribed to the platform.

The eighth season of SWAT is looking like it will be one of the most intense ones yet. After last season’s unexpected cancellation and return, the story arc has been expanded to 22 episodes. CBS heard the fans and added a Season 8. This gave viewers another chance to follow Hondo’s journey and see how his past affects his future with the squad.
