S.W.A.T. returns for a eight season with Episode 2 called “Gang Unit” which promises more high-stakes drama on next week. In “Gang Unit,” the S.W.A.T. team is asked to help the sheriff’s gang unit deal with a string of violent stash house thefts happening all over Los Angeles. These violent attacks aren’t like other thefts. The cruel group that did it doesn’t leave any witnesses alive, so the S.W.A.T. team has to hurry to find them before more people die.
Police and criminal groups are likely to fight very hard, and the S.W.A.T. team and the gang unit are likely to work together very closely. The squad is pushed to their limits with each house the thieves break into. As always, fans can look forward to heart-pounding action scenes, complex team dynamics and tactical strategies as the officers try to outsmart a dangerous crew that doesn’t care about human life.
Will the combined forces be enough to stop this killing spree before more people are killed? And how will the SWAT team deal with the problems that will inevitably come up when they work with another police force?
