The official trailer for Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans, which was made by Universal Pictures and won an Oscar, has been released. The Fabelmans is based on Spielberg’s childhood in Arizona, which he has often said was a big influence on his movies. The director’s work often goes back to how he grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family and pays tribute to that.

The coming-of-age movie was shown for the first time at the Toronto Film Festival, where it got good reviews. Spielberg’s bow was his first time at the Toronto fest. On Nov. 11, only a few theatres will show the movie. On Nov. 23, it will be shown everywhere.
Kristie Macosko Krieger, Spielberg and Kushner are producers. The Fabelmans is about a young man who finds out a shocking family secret. It also looks at how movies can help us see the truth about ourselves and each other.

In the movie, Gabriel LaBelle plays Sammy Fabelman, a 16-year-old aspiring filmmaker. Michelle Williams as Mitzi Fabelman, Sammy’s mother and a skilled pianist. The cast also includes Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Jeannie Berlin, Julia Butters, Robin Bartlett, Keeley Karsten and Judd Hirsch, and Tony Kushner. David Lynch, Mateo Zoryon Francis-DeFord, Birdie Borria, Alina Brace, Sophia Kopera, Oakes Fegley, Sam Rechner, Chloe East, Jonathan Hadary, and Isabelle Kusman are also in the cast.
