The Last of Us, a new show on HBO, has generated enormous buzz. Featuring Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, the series was developed by Chornobyl‘s Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog’s creative director Neil Druckmann.
Inspired by Naughty Dog‘s 2013 video game of the same name, it follows smuggler Joel (Pascal) as he travels across a post-apocalyptic America with Ellie (Ramsey), a young woman. After a fungus epidemic has transformed some of the population into zombie-like monsters, however, the path will not be simple. Strong performances and authenticity to the game have earned the series rave reviews from critics.
