“Grey’s Anatomy” For Season 19, Midori Francis Has Been Cast

Midori Francis

Midori Francis, who starred in The Sex Lives of College Girls, has been chosen to play a new medical resident in the forthcoming 19th season of ABC’s popular medical programme Grey’s Anatomy. She joins Niko Terho and Alexis Floyd, who were just cast, as the third newcomer for the upcoming season. In the Season 18 finale, Grey Sloan was instructed to dissolve and completely rebuild its teaching department. All three actors portray first-year surgical residents there.

With eight siblings, Francis’ Mika Yasuda is the middle kid. She makes use of the fact that she is accustomed to being disregarded and undervalued. Mika has enormous student loan debt from medical school, but she is tenacious and sure that she can succeed in the programme and advance to the top despite this.

On HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, Francis portrays Alicia, the director of the women’s centre at Essex College. She had a one-year series regular contract and will remain as a recurring on the forthcoming second season of the show, which had been the character’s original plan, I hear.

Prior to this, Francis portrayed Lily in the Netflix series Dash & Lily, for which she received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, and in the 2019 Universal film Good Boys, which had its SXSW premiere. She could also be seen in the Netflix movie Afterlife of the Party and the Facebook Watch series The Birch.

Francis has acted in several theatrical works, notably Ming Peiffer’s Usual Girls, for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Leading Actress. One Entertainment, A3 Artists Agency, and Johnson, Shapiro, Slewett & Kole are her agents.
