The FX sitcom called English Teacher focuses on the life of Evan Marquez, a gay high school teacher at Morrison-Hensley High School in Texas who tries to lead a normal life facing prejudices at work and personal struggles at the same time. It is an amalgamation of the workplace comedy and high school comedy as the cast features the general principal who means well but is often not sure of much, the clichéd gym teacher and a history teacher.
