When the accident is over, everybody is stupefied and grieves. Sooner, the mourning transforms into a quest for someone to blame, and it is Moncho, the housekeeper, who was supposed to hammer the bouncy castle to the ground. Despite the fact that Emiliano had failed to properly secure the castle, Moncho is arrested, beaten, and then murdered in prison.

The Accident: Who Killed Moncho?

The Accident _ Official Trailer-

The main event in the show is Moncho’s death, and his fate becomes a mystery that yet develops gradually. First of all, all the fingers are pointed at El Charro (Alberto Guerra), a muscle man and brute killer. Eventually, though, as the police carry on their investigation, it is discovered that it is actually Lupita (Eréndira Ibarra), Charro’s wife, who is behind the assassination of Moncho.
Lupita is a woman who has lost her son Rodrigo and her desire is born out of anger and grief. After being suspected to have being the cause of the accident, Moncho becomes a target of retaliation, thanks to Lupita. Not knowing the facet of Emiliano’s lack of attention, she pays a man named Eulogio with pretensions of being Moncho’s attorney to murder him. Eulogio gives Moncho poison which ultimately kills the poor housekeeper when he is still behind the bars.
Lupita’s decision to hire Eulogio is a result of her intense grief. She initially attempts to kill Moncho’s child but fails, pushing her to more extreme measures. In a twisted turn of events, Eulogio later starts blackmailing Lupita, threatening to expose her role in the assassination if she doesn’t continue paying him. This leads Lupita to kill Eulogio in cold blood. She meets him at a cemetery and poisons him with a drug-laced apple, reminiscent of the tale of Snow White. In a move to protect herself, Lupita cleverly frames her own husband, Charro, for Moncho’s murder.
As the true cause of the accident is revealed, Emiliano is burdened by the weight of his guilt. It was his failure to properly secure the bouncy castle that led to the tragedy. Despite pressure from his business partners to keep quiet, Emiliano confesses to his role in the deaths of the children. Ultimately, he is sentenced to two years in prison for his negligence.
Though Emiliano accepts his punishment, the real complexity of the story lies in how each character deals with their grief and guilt. Lupita, for example, redirects her sorrow into violent revenge, while Emiliano chooses to take responsibility.
Charro, blinded by his thirst for revenge, tries to destroy Emiliano’s life both professionally and personally. But in the end, it’s Lupita’s actions that land him in jail. She plants evidence to implicate him in Moncho’s assassination, and when the authorities come knocking, Charro’s fate is sealed.
In the end, THE ACCIDENT explores the devastating ripple effects of tragedy and the lengths people will go to protect themselves or seek vengeance. Lupita’s actions highlight how unchecked grief can lead to irreversible consequences, while Emiliano’s journey serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.
